On two of the keys, there is a little wear to the plate, but overall the keys are in very good shape. The Imperial was regarded as the next one up from the Emperor in the Boosey & Hawkes series of clarinets. They were designed for military band use, across the Empire indeed. The bore and body are in very good condition there are no cracks, damage or wear, only slight surface marks. Sorry to contradict, but the Imperial 926s are pro, not intermediate. Though the older B&H instruments are great the new lines that Buffet is coming out with (Tosca, Divine, Legende) are definitely far superior (in theory) and far more expensive.
